The Flamingo Marina Resort’s New Year’s Eve party was a great event with over 150 guests attending. There has been a pick up in activity in the area, the attached shot is a ship from Wind Star Cruises which was heading up to Nicaragua earlier this month but was forced to pull into Flamingo for shelter from the gale force northerly winds. Great news on Flamingo’s marina, the bidding process is to be re-initiated next month, who knows with a new marina maybe Flamingo will be able to attract cruise ships on a regular basis. Those of us that have been involved in this area long enough are familiar with these kinds of cycles and realize that whilst this period lasts, a number of  opportunities will arise enabling those investors who were perhaps previously priced out of Flamingo to get a foothold in the property market here at more affordable prices.
